Lorenzo Piccione from Pianogrillo is a Sicilian olive oil producer. Like many before him, Piccione has observed the growth in interest in quality oil, but he alone noticed that there was no utensil that allowed knowledgeable tasting of this wonderful substance. And so he designed a completely new type of object for the Encyclopedia Alessi: the personal oil taster.
